Ten Point Plymouth Stand Staying Busy
Pulled the camera from my Ten Point Plymouth stand today and moved it to the Plympton Y Stand. I think I am going to put one back up at the Ten Point Plymouth Stand. This stand is looking like a hot one with daily deer movement. Come rut time, it should be pretty busy.
Bay Void of Fish This Morning…
Pre-dawn at Duxbury Beach this morning
The bay is void of fish this morning. We fished six hours from one end to the other and landed one short striped bass. No bait, no working birds, and no fish in the bay on this morning’s tide.
My charters worked very, very hard all morning and we covered Duxbury, Kingston, and Plymouth waters without a hit. We landed one bass at Saquish for the morning. At the end of the trip, six hours later, I stopped at one of my other spots on structure that usually holds some fish striped bass. We picked up three more very small stripers on light tackle.
It was a lovely sunrise and the winds stayed East and calm. The bay was pretty flat and it was a lovely September morning. We made the best of it and I was humbled by the fickleness of nature. Now we wait for the next big pod of fish to come through our waters as they make their way south for the winter. Stay posted: They could show on any tide…

Slow Morning, But Enjoyable On The Bay
Had high school classmate, Billy Gourley on board this morning, along with his daughter, Jenna, and father, Billy, Sr. The trio worked the bay non-stop for nearly six hours and boated ten fish total. The biggest was a fat 27.5 inches, landed in two feet of water up on the flats. Very few bass came into the bay on the rising tide. A low pressure system was forecasted to move in over night and that would of lit the bay up like Christmas. The few fish that were in the bay today were running and gunning as fast as we were trying to stay on the them. It was tough work but we kept at it and caught what they bay had to offer today :0)

49 STRIPED BASS THIS MORNING…!
Al Uhler & Crew on board this morning. The boys fished the first shift and the Southern Belles fished the second shift with Capt. David Bitters of The Baymen. Final score: The Boys – 15 Striped Bass. The Girls – 34 Striped Bass. The girls also landed the biggest fish of the day, taking home the blue ribbon in both categories, Most Fish & Biggest Fish. A great morning on the bay with both crews and outstanding striped bass fishing here on the Massachusetts coast!

BAYMEN Switching over to the SWEET (!) TFO/Gary Loomis SWS & FWS Spinning Rods For All Our Charters…
Baymen Guide Service, Inc. is in love. The new Temple Fork Outfitters (TFO)/Gary Loomis SWS & FWS Spinning Rods are awesome!!! We are replacing all of our St. Croix Rods we have been using on all of our charters for years, with Temple Fork Rods. It is a sweet rod and we have been testing it all season long and have fallen in love with it. Check out TFO’s website www.tforods.com and take a good look at these fine rods. All Baymen Charters will be hurling tackle with the TFO/Gary Loomis rod and we promise you are going to fall in love with it like we have…
