TURKEY OPENS NEXT WEEK

WE ARE BACK FROM BASS PRO SHOPS
Greetings and happy Monday from Capt. Dave & The BAYMEN!
We just returned from two days at Bass Pro Shops in Foxboro, MA. We had our booth set up, showed our striped bass video, gave fly tying demonstrations, handed out 2011 tide calendars, Baymen T-Shirts, took charter bookings, and talked fishing with thousands of sportsmen. On Sunday alone, over 6,000 people walked through the doors…!
A big thanks to our BAYMEN crew who helped set-up, and make the show a great success. On Saturday, we had a 13 member crew! A special thanks to Baymen Kayla for all her hard work behind the scenes and running the booth. Thanks too, to Mitch Wilson of huntvids.com, who came by to shoot some film, and to Jacob Bennett of Shared Obsession TV who stopped by to give us his new new turkey call! Also, so great to see John Baker, Jack Rogers, Paul Sommers, Buck Rothwell, among many of our old friends.
Bass Pro Shops has asked Baymen to come back on April 30 and May 1 to do a fly tying demo and run a fly casting clinic. We are very excited to return to our favorite outdoors store and spend time with Bass Pro Shops customers teaching and sharing what we all have a real passion for.
Here are some photos of this past weekend. Have a great week and watch for our fishing reports as we get back on the water later this week! In two more weeks, we start a blitz of 60 striped bass fishing charters in a row…!

THIS EVENING’S LM TRIP
Got back out for a few hours this evening. No charter, no short-notice friends, so I went solo to scout yet another small pocket water to see if it held LM. It did! Here are a few pics from this evening.
I have three more weeks of freshwater guiding for trout and largemouth and smallmouth. If you want to book a half-day trip, give me a call. After that, we are straight out with striped bass and saltwater fishing for the next six months.

Quick Trip This Morning…
An off the wall day Friday left us scrambling to get in a little fishing this morning. Got out for an hour on a local pond and picked up a few little chunker LM’s. We did scout a new area at sunrise, that we have wanted to access for years and it finally came through. So, we are very excited to start fishing this new piece of big water.
